Email a clear scan or photo of your document to us with your order reference. No need to post the original for translation only -- if an apostille on the original is also required, we will advise you at that stage.
Your sworn translation is prepared by a registered translator and includes their declaration and signature.
Your completed sworn translation is delivered to you by email as a PDF, typically within 1-2 working days. A printed hard copy can also be arranged on request.

Do you also need an Apostille on your original document?
Many foreign authorities require both a sworn translation and an apostille on the original document. Our parent service 1Apostille.org.uk can arrange this -- often at the same time as your translation.
We currently offer sworn translation of UK documents into Spanish, Italian, French and German only. We do not translate into other languages at this stage. All translations are from English originals into the target language.
A sworn translation is one prepared by a translator who holds an official standing with the relevant authority -- for example, a Traductor Jurado certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or a Traduttore Giurato sworn before an Italian court. This gives the translation a level of legal recognition that a standard translation does not have. Many foreign embassies, civil registries and public bodies often require this form of translation for UK documents, though you should always confirm exact requirements with the receiving authority.

Requirements vary by country and by the specific authority you are dealing with. In many cases, foreign authorities require both a sworn translation of the document and an apostille on the original. We recommend checking with the receiving authority directly before placing your order. Our parent service, 1Apostille.org.uk, can arrange apostilles alongside your translation.
Our standard turnaround is 1-2 working days from the date we receive your original documents. If you also require an apostille, please allow additional time for that process. Contact us if you have an urgent deadline and we will do our best to accommodate you.
