Moving to Spain from the UK involves dealing with a number of Spanish authorities, many of which will require sworn translations of your UK documents by a Traductor Jurado.

A NIE (Numero de Identidad de Extranjero) is required for almost every official transaction in Spain. Residency registration (empadronamiento) and subsequent processes often require sworn translations of birth and marriage certificates.
UK driving licences can no longer be automatically exchanged in Spain following Brexit. A sworn translation of your UK driving licence into Spanish is a standard part of the canje de carnet process at the DGT.
If you are employed in a regulated sector in Spain -- teaching, healthcare, or other licensed professions -- a sworn translation of your DBS certificate and academic qualifications may be required.
Buying property in Spain through a notario typically requires sworn translations of UK identity and status documents, including birth certificates and marriage or divorce certificates as applicable.
